The problem
Building a case means collecting records, notes, deadlines, and documents over time — and when they live in folders and inboxes, reconstructing what happened and when becomes a project of its own.
Why existing tools fell short
Folder structures and email threads don’t show a case as a timeline, and full practice-management suites are heavier than many case-documentation needs.
The solution
CaseBuilder is being designed as a focused workspace that keeps each case’s timeline, notes, records, and documents together. It is narrower than a full practice management system like Practa: the goal is organized case documentation, not billing or trust accounting.

What makes it interesting
A timeline is the natural organizing principle for case documentation — every record, note, and document has a date — and building around it keeps the tool simple compared with general-purpose document storage.
