MotoDealerHQ
A dealership management platform for motorcycle, powersports, and automotive dealers: dealer website, inventory, CRM, sales, service, and parts in one connected workspace, with AI pricing and profitability advice built on the dealer’s own records.
The problem
Dealers run the website, inventory, leads, deals, service, and parts in separate systems. The same vehicle and customer are entered again and again, and nobody sees what a unit really cost, who asked about it, or what happened next.
Why existing tools fell short
Websites, CRM, and dealer management are commonly separate products joined by feeds and exports, so a unit’s cost, its listing, its leads, and its service history end up in different places.
The solution
MotoDealerHQ brings the dealer website, inventory, customers, sales, service, and parts into one workspace built around a single vehicle record — with AI that advises on pricing and profitability from the dealer’s own records but cannot act on its own.
- Dealer website with themes, page editor, inventory search, and your own domain
- Inventory with free NHTSA VIN decoding, merchandising, and marketplace feeds
- Leads, sales pipeline, two-way texting, live chat, deals, and online deposits
- Service appointments, repair orders, and parts inventory with a web store
- AI grades and pricing advice — AI can research and draft, but never buy, bid, or approve
Engineering involved
Drawn from the product’s own public website: features, pricing, and security pages. Only what the product publicly documents is listed.
- Scope
- Multi-location dealerships, with staff permissions and approvals by person, role, department, and rooftop.
- Vehicle data
- One record per VIN across inventory, trade-ins, deals, auctions, and service; free NHTSA decoding and recall matches; commercial history reports only where a provider account is connected.
- AI
- A central policy engine lets AI research, evaluate, and draft but never bid, buy, accept trade-ins, approve, or change limits. Grades and forecasts come from the dealer’s own data; AI summaries need an AI provider key.
- Integrations
- Marketplace feeds with ADF/XML leads coming back in, card payments through the dealer’s own Stripe account, and a REST API with webhooks on the Enterprise plan.
- Security
- Authenticator-app two-factor sign-in, account lockout, and credit applications encrypted with a separate key and shown only after re-entering a password.
What makes it interesting
Market comparables are labelled for what they are: every value states its provider, date, comparable count, and confidence, and asking prices are never treated as sold prices — they become an expected sale price only through the dealer’s own recorded sale-to-asking ratio.
Outcome
Not measured MotoDealerHQ is in early access (version 1.0.0-beta.2). No customer, usage, or revenue figures have been published, so none are claimed here.
Current status
Active Beta Working software in a public beta or early-access program — not yet generally available.
Early-access plans (Starter, Pro, and Enterprise) with pricing on request and free trials. Some features depend on the plan or on the dealer’s own third-party accounts — auction houses, vehicle history providers, AI providers, and Stripe — and the product labels which.
